VAX - The Frontline Force of the Stormwater Defenders



Created by STORMWATER DEFENDERS technicians at headquarters, VAX executes routine maintenance and provides reconnaissance of surface streets and parking lots, scouring the impervious surfaces for evidence of The Degraders. VAX initiates the response of the rest of the team and is constantly chasing after Scattershot and the trash and debris it leaves in its wake.

His ability to fly means VAX is often the first on the scene for spill cleanup. VAX is a technological marvel and a pollutant-stopping force to be reckoned with as the front line of the STORMWATER DEFENDERS.

SWEEP - StormWater Ecology and Environment Protector

SWEEP is Vax’s support bot for emergency response and routine maintenance. SWEEP is deployed after spills, to manage leaf litter in the fall, and clean up after sand or salt has been applied for snow management on roads. SWEEP is solar powered and has a high efficiency, regenerative air system to remove trash, sediment and debris at a very high level. Along with the variable brushes on the cleaning head, SWEEP also has a cleaning wand that spins with pressurized water inside the brushes. This allows SWEEP to be highly effective at managing permeable hard surface cleaning keeping the green infrastructure infiltrating at designed rate. SWEEP has an onboard water recycling system that allows it to stay on the job longer and making it more efficient to as a maintenance tool for many years.
