Teresa Jones began to build her skills of investigation at a young age. Early on she had a fascination with water and pollution. Born and raised in south Los Angeles, an area plagued by drought, Teresa learned about pollution and how it threatened her neighborhood's valuable water resources. Her parents, both PhDs in their own right, nurtured her inquisitive nature to seek out threats to water resources.

As she got older, Teresa spent years learning and training at prestigious schools. She worked with government officials to change the course of water quality. Everywhere she went she learned that new threats continued to emerge, even while she fought against old, known foes. Her fascination with science and math propelled her into a powerful mission to identify sources of pollution and water degradation, and to stop them!

Recently Teresa, aka Super Sampler, joined the STORMWATER DEFENDERS as their Intelligence Officer to identify where The DEGRADERS (the evildoers of water pollution) may be plotting to destroy our water resources. Using her intelligence data, she knows exactly when and where to dispatch the STORMWATER DEFENDERS into action. 

SAM - Sampling Aid Machine

SAMs are equipped with calibration standards, extra vials, and sample supplies. SAMs have a cooling core to keep samples at temperature as they carry samples back to Super Sampler’s lab. SAM’s ability to fly ensures samples make it to the lab under hold time. They are GPS guided and communicate via a satellite uplink so real-time data can be communicated to Headquarters. SAMs allow Super Sampler to rapidly be able to diagnose level of pollutants that may endanger our waters and get information to the Defenders on how to respond.
